CHANDA CAREY-VICKERSTAFF, dreams of the day when she will find what it is that she wants to be when she grows up. With varying interest in real estate, writing and event planning, her desire is to find the gift that will make room for her and enjoy the latter years pouring into her purpose. Chanda is a professional with well over 25 combined years in the utility and banking industries, employed in various positions ranging from entry-level to officer and trustee. She currently works as a utility analyst for a leading gas company in the Dallas area. Ms. Carey-Vickerstaff received a BS from Purdue University and an MBA from Indiana Wesleyan University. Her greatest joy is actively working on her relationship with God and being a mother of two, beautiful young adult daughters (Caitlynne and Rayna). She has been a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated for more than 30 years and enjoys the evolving relationships of those who joined with her. She is the oldest of 3 children and currently a caregiver to her father, Winston. Chanda believes that faith, family and fun are what contributes to a well-balanced life.
HILARY FERGUSON,is an avid reader from a young age, Hilary was that little kid whose parents always found her reading when she was supposed to be asleep. Hilary has a BA in English Literature from Washington University, has worked extensively on the global side of the travel industry, owned a website design and editing business and has spent many years working on both the classroom and administrative sides of education. She also enjoys leveraging her technical and cultural experiences towards helping communities and non-profit organizations. While an occasional writer, her main passion continues to be editing and proofreading the works of others, and to encourage and challenge them to use their voices to tell a wide variety of stories.
KAY KELLY, is the founder of Avenue K. Web Design & Branding Company. She has 13 years of experience in graphic design and has been in business for over 10 years.
She has worked with one of largest and well known Behavioral Health Practices here in Dallas, Texas. Also, she has worked with notable Celebrities and Singers Such as Fred Hammond as well as Counselors, Government Officials and many more public figures.
Kay is a mother of two daughters and she enjoys spending time with them and creating her own fun projects in her spare time.
